Job Summary
Autism Support Broker for the Children's Autism Waiver Program. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining contact with families, assessing needs, coordinating and managing delivery of in-home behavioral services and essential supports, maintaining communication with DDS Clinical Managers, developing person-centered Autism Support Plans and Emergency Fact Sheets, data entry in designated databases, coordinating monthly family meetings, and assisting families with hiring, scheduling, and paying support workers. Requires travel within the Newton/South Norfolk and Metro-Boston area; schedules are flexible to meet client needs. Requires BA/BS (or associates with relevant experience) in Human Services, or equivalent experience, plus valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks. Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and team-work skills are essential; nonprofit environment with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS and experience in the Human Services Field, or Associates Degree plus 5 years’ experience in the Human Services Field
- Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
