Job Summary

Obtain documents, verify, and conduct follow-up on insurance authorizations and eligibility for scheduled exams. Contact insurance companies to secure prior authorizations and predeterminations for exams ordered by practice providers. Check insurance eligibility against carrier databases and maintain CPT code authorization files based on managed care contracts. Enter data accurately into systems, applying CPT codes to match authorizations, and consult with supervisors, modality protocols, or clinical managers to ensure workflow accuracy. This role supports Radiology Associates of Florida's quality-oriented practice, serving prestigious health systems across Florida with state-of-the-art IT integration.
