Authorization & Health Information Specialist responsible for verifying surgical authorizations, compiling statistical data, and assisting with insurance audits, as well as reception/admission duties to improve customer satisfaction. Must utilize automated clinical information systems, adhere to confidentiality and regulatory guidelines, identify risks to patients, and support continuous quality improvement while working with others to ensure accurate, timely processing of admissions-related tasks.
