Job Summary
Set up the event in the morning or pack down in the afternoon/evening shift. Remove donations from vehicles onto trucks or shipping containers onsite, then transfer items from trucks into shipping containers. Direct traffic at Fairbairn Park Carpark, 34 Woods St, Ascot Vale VIC 3032. This one-day outdoor event runs from 9:30am to 1:30pm on 17 Oct 2026. Volunteers must be 16+ years of age and fit to lift bags or boxes of clothing. No experience is necessary; training occurs on the day. Collected donations help Australian Red Cross Shops raise funds for humanitarian work supporting people facing vulnerability, disaster, and crisis in Australia and across the world.
Required Qualifications
- Over 16 years of age
- Fit and able to lift and carry bags/boxes of donated clothing from vehicles for duration of shift
