Operate, set up, and maintain industrial machinery and systems, diagnosing faults and executing repairs to ensure continuous operational readiness. Fabricate and adapt construction and replacement parts using manual and machine processes such as sawing, drilling, milling, turning, and welding. Apply quality assurance systems, inspect and maintain operating materials, and assemble electrical sub-assemblies. Evaluate control technology documentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics while documenting all repair work. This three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship includes 1.5 days weekly at the Hohentwiel-Gewerberschule in Singen, supported by an above-average stipend, 35-hour work week, and 30 days of vacation.
