Job Summary
Field Inspectors for Insurance Loss Control are needed for immediate placements. Responsibilities include receiving assignments electronically, scheduling inspections, inspecting properties for potential issues related to utilities and building systems, interviewing insured individuals, communicating inspection status online, and completing reports using the Loss Control 360 system. Preferred skills include experience in commercial inspections, knowledge of property and casualty insurance, and strong communication abilities. Professional certifications such as CSP, OHST, ALCM, and ARM are helpful but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified to work in the USA
- History of direct experience completing commercial line inspections
- Completion of a training course such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course or its equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections
- Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, general liability, and worker's compensation
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and communicate well verbally and in writing
- Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents
- Ability to travel approximately a 50-mile radius
