Job Summary
Nurse graduates that are board eligible from an accredited school of nursing may work under the direct supervision of an RN; after being deemed competent, provide direct and indirect patient care mastered through orientation, under RN delegation. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, outputs, pulse oximetry and weights; assisting with treatments, exams, procedures; administering baths and basic hygiene; collecting and delivering specimens to labs; lifting/repositioning patients with proper body mechanics; assisting with dietary trays and feeding; documenting care based on patient age and development; adhering to infection control policies; attending in-service programs; and performing duties as assigned within unit operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing/Diploma
- board eligibility from an accredited school of nursing
- valid nursing license within 120 days of hire
