Job Summary

Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' communication needs and abilities, then develop and implement individualized AAC plans tailored to each patient's requirements. Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to support students in school settings, while providing training and support to families and caregivers on AAC device usage. Stay updated on advancements in speech therapy and AAC technologies to enhance patient care. This role offers flexibility to work across Early Intervention, outpatient clinics, and school districts throughout California.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • CA State SLP License
  • Proven experience in AAC assessment

Desired Qualifications

  • AAC related coursework/ experience
  • Prior school-based SLP experience
