Job Summary
Input quality attributes, monitor product quality throughout production, collect and document daily samples, and communicate trends with leadership. Maintain accurate records, promote safety compliance with PPE, and provide departmental coverage. Participate in cross-training to master hide brand sortation and all Quality Assurance functions. This safety-sensitive, on-site role requires reading/writing in English, two to five years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift 100# hides. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
- Two to five years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or a previous Quality Assurance position
- Manual dexterity
- Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays
- Conceptual/Analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of various quality aspects
- Ability to lift hides up to 100#
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
