Job Summary
Independently identify, analyze, and evaluate potential legal, regulatory, and reputational risks while tracing funds through accounts to maximize recovery efforts. Collect and analyze information from various systems to formulate theories, draw conclusions, and provide insights for civil and criminal proceedings. Manage relations with law enforcement agencies and financial institutions to collaborate on investigations, conduct effective interviews with suspects and witnesses, and provide litigation support including court testimony. Document actions and information gathered to maintain case files and develop reports for internal stakeholders or external parties. Ensure all incidents are evaluated, managed, investigated, closed, or escalated appropriately while staying abreast of emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 7 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of AI enabled tools and applications
- Significant experience in banking and processes
- Good working knowledge and experience in accessing banking systems
- Experience resolving issues of moderate/high complexity or risk
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
