Job Summary
Auditor, Lead role focused on planning, conducting, and leading audits for the ABS QE Aerospace Program with remote work while traveling to client sites (50%+). Responsibilities include training plan progression to assessor and lead assessor status, coordinating with Client Service Representatives to schedule visits, planning and executing assessments, reporting results, and managing corrective actions. You will mentor junior auditors, interact with customer management at all levels, review quality manuals for compliance, and participate in ongoing training. The position requires leading audits, coordinating with Aerospace Technical Manager on customer concerns, and maintaining thorough audit documentation while maintaining regular travel to client sites and project locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the Aviation, Space and Defense industry and at least one year's experience as an AEA for either AS9100, AS110, or AS9120
- Lead Auditor authentication in AS9100, AS9120 or AS9100; ISO 9001/14001/13485 acceptable with relevant Aerospace experience
- Minimum four (4) years of QA/QC/Environmental auditing experience including Petroleum/Chemical Manufacturing industries
