Job Summary
Auditor II in Food Production responsible for evaluating supplier compliance with food safety/quality standards (GFSI benchmarks such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC, GlobalGAP). Conduct full-range Food Safety & Quality audits, supplier visits, develop work plans, communicate findings to suppliers and NSF team, produce reports detailing audit findings, and travel domestically and internationally. Requires Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of food processing experience, GFSI auditor qualifications, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years food processing experience in a responsible position related to food safety
- Qualified as a consultant or auditor in at least one of the GFSI benchmarked standards (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC, GlobalGAP)
- In-depth working knowledge of the manufacture of food and allied products
- Ability to perform audits in more than one program area and/or ability to train auditors
- Ability to work independently from remote location
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Passport valid and ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
