Job Summary
Auditor II in Food Production to conduct Food Safety & Quality audits across suppliers, evaluate compliance with GFSI standards (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC, GlobalGAP), produce audit reports, and communicate findings to suppliers and NSF team. Responsibilities include scheduling and conducting audits, visiting suppliers to verify corrective actions, developing work plans for audits, coordinating with program representatives and project managers on plant-specific concerns, and performing other duties as requested. Requires Bachelor’s degree, five years of food-processing experience, ability to travel domestically and internationally, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work remotely and independently. Proficient in maintaining documentation and reports across multiple program areas; willingness to travel and hold a valid passport.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years food processing experience (food plant experience in a responsible position related to food safety)
- Qualified as a consultant or auditor in at least one of the GFSI benchmarked standards (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC, GlobalGAP)
- In-depth working knowledge of the manufacture of food and allied products
- Ability to perform audits in more than one program area and/or ability to train auditors
- Ability to work independently from remote location
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to maintain a valid and current passport and have the ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
