Job Summary
Plan and conduct operational audits across finance, corporate, and information systems teams in alignment with Global Internal Audit Standards. Execute risk assessments, design audit procedures, and prepare working papers while generating clear reports on findings and recommendations. Leverage data analytics to enhance coverage and identify value-added insights, then monitor previous audit outcomes to ensure corrective actions address significant risks. Build relationships with business partners to strengthen governance, risk, and control environments. This entry-level Development Program offers mentorship, training toward professional certifications, and opportunities to advance within CPKC's transnational railroad network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of audit experience in operations and/or financial auditing
- Possibility that the location of your position may be changed based on organizational requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Professional designations such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or progress toward obtaining one of these designations
