Auditor - Compliance

Job Summary
Conduct risk and control management audits to monitor compliance with applicable directives, regulations, and safety protocols. Prepare comprehensive warehouse audit reports, present findings, and perform follow-up audits to track progress. Develop and enforce safety policies, procure PPE, maintain hazardous materials documentation, and organize OHSA training plans. Intervene in unsafe activities and provide training on safe work practices to all employees. Manage team schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and handle discipline in accordance with company policy. Maintain documentation in multiple databases and TX-ISO web-based programming while ensuring the warehouse remains organized and clean.
Required Qualifications
- three to five years experience in warehouse auditing
- three to five years warehousing safety experience
- proven working experience as an internal auditor
- proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
- excellent organizational skills
- high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- sound independent judgement
- excellent communication and advisory skills
- ability to multitask and work without supervision
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suites and web based programming
- Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment
- Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working
- reach over shoulder heights
- bend or stoop below the waist
- repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement
- occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, or related field is preferred
- Prefer experience in electronics repair environment
