Job Summary
Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving potentially complex financial transactions and organizations. Responsibilities include developing and drafting technical audit guidelines, analyzing and presenting large volumes of data from financial records, assisting with investigation planning and witness interviews, preparing concise reports and charts/graphs, utilizing electronic databases to locate assets and documents, and coordinating with federal/state officials. The role requires collaboration across teams, strong analytical skills, familiarity with medical billing procedures (preferred), and experience with finance/accounting systems in investigative contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or other related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or statistical/data analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
