Job Summary
Conduct regular audits of injection mold processes and perform detailed inspections of molded parts to identify deviations from quality standards. Complete and maintain accurate documentation for quality audits, apply SOS procedures and Visual Criteria, and perform first article inspections to ensure successful process start-ups. Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve non-conformances and clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to management. Requires flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Familiarity with quality management systems, mold injection processes, and auditing practices
- Strong knowledge of standards and procedures relevant to mold injection operations
- Understanding of injection molding processes
- Ability to make guided decisions based on the data available
