Job Summary
Lead client engagements across Oil & Gas, Construction, Government, and other industries by managing relationships, supervising engagement teams, and ensuring high accuracy and timeliness. Review junior staff work, prepare complex engagement file sections, and mentor team members while setting culture and developing individual goals. Deliver quality client service to build loyalty and contribute to positive team experiences. Utilize CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, DataSnipper, and other tools to manage workflow, documentation, and audit evidence through creative problem solving. This high-visibility Audit Supervisor role offers a clear path toward increased responsibility within our growing Tyler, Texas practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA license or actively pursuing licensure and eligible to sit
- 4+ years of increasing responsibility in public accounting, with a focus in audit
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
- Demonstrably strong leadership and team development skills
- Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Experience with Oil & Gas, Government/Single Audit, and/or Construction engagements
- Familiarity with CCH Axcess and/or CCH Engagement
- Experience with DataSnipper or similar audit analytics tools
