Job Summary
Lead audits from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio, carrying out fieldwork both on-site and remotely. Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements from client records while identifying key audit risks to ensure assignments meet high technical standards. Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, completing audit files for manager and partner review. Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout assignments. Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or equivalent
- At least 2 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong working knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks (UK GAAP/IFRS)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous
