Job Summary
Conduct active audit fieldwork and planned procedures at client premises while leading assignment planning, execution, and comprehensive documentation. Prepare statutory financial statements from client data to highlight pertinent risk areas and finalize assignments for Partner/Manager review. Assume increasing responsibility for your portfolio with manager guidance, contribute to revenue and profitability targets, and cultivate enduring client relationships. Requires ACA/ACCA qualification, two years of audit experience, and strong technical knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP. Salary circa £40,000 - £50,000 with hybrid working, 25 days holiday, and full study support available.
Required Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of audit experience within a reputable accountancy firm
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks (IFRS/UK GAAP), and relevant legislation
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify risks and propose practical solutions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Proven leadership abilities, including experience in supervising and developing junior team members
