Job Summary
Audit Senior responsible for leading and delivering audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients (listed, private, not-for-profit) in Sydney. Manage audits from planning through completion, prepare and review financial statements and audit workpapers, draft management letters and communicate findings to clients. Build strong client relationships, supervise and develop junior team members, and collaborate with Managers/Directors/Partners on complex technical matters. Assist with due diligence and other advisory assignments as required. Proficiency with CaseWare or similar audit software, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required. The role offers direct access to Partners, structured training and a clear progression pathway, with flexible working arrangements in a long-standing, supportive mid-tier firm. Location is Sydney with HYBRID work arrangement; Australia/NZ residency required.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' external audit experience within an Australian public practice firm
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong understanding of Australian auditing and accounting standards
- Experience managing audit engagements and client relationships
- Proficiency with CaseWare or similar audit software
