Job Summary
Audit Senior at a Warwick, RI CPA firm will lead planning and execution of audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base including privately held companies, nonprofits, and employee benefit plans. You’ll review workpapers, assess internal controls, and communicate with client management as a key point of contact. Stay current on accounting/auditing standards and apply changes to engagements while supporting firm growth through quality service. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA or on-track to obtain, 3+ years of public accounting audit experience, proficiency in GAAP/GAAS, strong leadership and communication, and experience with engagement management software (AdvanceFlow or similar) and QuickBooks. Travel is limited (5–10%), with a flexible hybrid schedule; comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license or on track to obtain
- 3+ years of recent public accounting experience with audit focus
- Proficiency with GAAP, GAAS, and risk-based auditing principles
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with engagement management software (AdvanceFlow or similar) and QuickBooks is preferred
