Job Summary
Auditor/Senior Auditor role in Sydney within a leading professional services firm. You will manage audit engagements from planning through completion, prepare and document audit work papers, identify and resolve technical accounting and audit issues, review financial statements for compliance, and lead/mentor junior team members while ensuring methodology compliance. The position requires CAANZ qualification (or near completion) and 2.5+ years of audit experience, with strong knowledge of Australian or International Auditing Standards and the Australian Corporations Act. You will work in a collaborative environment at a firm recognized for client service and professional development, contributing to high-quality audits across a diverse client portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- 2.5+ years of audit experience
- CAANZ qualified (or close to completion)
- strong technical knowledge of Australian or International Auditing Standards and the Australian Corporations Act
- experience acting as in-charge (AIC) and supervising junior team members
- clear and confident client/colleague communication
- collaborative team environment and positive culture
- ability to mentor and lead teams across multiple engagements
