Job Summary
Provide ideas to improve client processes and procedures, understand clients' businesses and industries, and identify accounting and auditing issues. Assist with audit planning and perform audit fieldwork while resolving issues. This role requires 8+ years of public accounting experience, a licensed CPA, and sound GAAP and GAAS knowledge, with familiarity to SEC and PCAOB reporting rules. The position involves working independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines, and demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills. Located in Phoenix, AZ with hybrid expectations and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of public accounting experience
- Licensed CPA or international equivalent
- Sound GAAP and GAAS knowledge
- Familiarity with SEC and PCAOB reporting rules
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team of professionals at all levels
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
