Job Summary
Join Weaver as an Audit Senior Manager or Director, responsible for expanding the Public Sector practice while delivering exceptional service across all stages of the audit process. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, an active CPA license, and over 8 years of public accounting experience, focusing on compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership in audit planning and staff development, alongside strong relationship management skills. They will also need to attract and service new clients, ensuring growth within the Public Sector market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Active CPA license
- 8+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
- Experience leading audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting processes
- Experience ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, GAGAS (Yellow Book), and Uniform Guidance
- Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Associates, Senior Associates, Supervisors, and Managers
