Job Summary
Weaver is seeking an Audit Senior to join their Energy team, responsible for leading complex audit engagements, applying technical accounting guidance under GAAP and SEC frameworks. Candidates must demonstrate strong project management capabilities, interpersonal skills, and ability to enhance client relationships. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, CPA candidacy with a preference for CPA certification, plus a minimum of two years in public accounting. Preferred candidates will have a Master’s degree in Accounting and experience in the energy sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and GAAS
- Strong project management, team orientation and interpersonal skills
- CPA candidate required, CPA strongly preferred
- 2+ years or more of public accounting experience, industry, or a combination of both
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Energy and/or renewable energy industry experience
