Job Summary
Audit Senior responsible for overseeing a broad range of assurance engagements across nonprofit, real estate, manufacturing, and construction clients; prepares and details audit, compilation, and review engagements in accordance with firm policies and quality standards; reviews accounting data and financial statements within budget and engagement guidelines; identifies opportunities for workflow efficiencies; serves as a client contact and builds trusted relationships; supervises and mentors 2–3 direct reports (staff and interns); stays current on GAAP, SAS, and GAGAS changes and assesses impact on engagements; collaborates with firm leadership on engagement execution and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years public accounting experience with an assurance background
- Strong technical knowledge across different levels of assurance engagement
- Willing to manage and develop a team
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Prior experience at a firm of meaningful scale and complexity
