Job Summary
Perform audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients while conducting effective risk and internal control assessments. Manage all engagement phases from planning through fieldwork, financial statement preparation, and report delivery. Review staff work, prepare high-risk sections, and draft financial statements. Provide financial and business analysis post-fieldwork to improve client controls and procedures. Collect and analyze client information to solve problems and meet deadlines. Conduct fieldwork at client locations and for remote clients. Train and delegate tasks to staff based on availability and experience. Meet assigned deadlines or budgets and demonstrate proactive communication regarding such.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2+ years of accounting firm audit experience
- CPA license or actively in process
- Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs
- Ability to learn quicky and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
