Job Summary
Conduct complex audit procedures including substantive testing, control testing, and analytical reviews to evaluate financial statement accuracy. Lead client engagements from planning through completion, managing teams, developing audit plans, and ensuring adherence to timelines and standards. Perform financial statement analysis and internal control assessments to identify risks and recommend improvements. Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining professional relationships and addressing inquiries. Review workpapers, finalize audit reports, and document findings in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current on evolving accounting standards and participate in post-engagement reviews to enhance firm methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3 – 6 years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time
- Travel may be frequent and unpredictable, depending on client's needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in professional service environment, such as a CPA firm, financial consulting firm, or similar setting
- Actively working towards achieving CPA licensure or relevant certification, if not already attained
- Responsible for completing the minimum CPE credit requirement
