Job Summary
Lead audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion; prepare and review workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP; mentor junior staff and manage multiple client engagements; conduct internal control and risk assessments to identify process improvements; communicate proactively with clients regarding engagement progress and audit findings; research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues; ensure engagements comply with professional and firm standards and deadlines; CPA-eligible with 3-5+ years of public accounting experience and strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge; proficiency with audit software (CaseWare, ProSystem fx Engagement) and Microsoft Office; collaborative, client-facing role with opportunities across industries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
- 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit/assurance
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx Engagement)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teams
