Job Summary
Conduct audits in line with auditing standards and statutory requirements, preparing financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports. Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment and testing, while gathering relevant information from clients and addressing their queries. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in audit and accounting procedures. Develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues for effective collaboration, staying updated on regulatory changes and industry developments. Support senior team members on various ad hoc assignments and projects. Competitive salary of £28,000 - £37,500 per annum, based on experience and qualification. Full study support provided with a hybrid and flexible working policy.
Required Qualifications
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role within a reputable accounting firm
- Solid understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
