Job Summary
Lead the strategic direction of the audit practice by setting goals, collaborating with partners on growth strategies, and managing resource allocation for high-level engagements. Serve as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic insights on financial processes, controls, and reporting while overseeing comprehensive audit planning and execution. Mentor senior and staff members to cultivate leadership skills, ensure rigorous quality control across all documentation, and manage engagement risks. Frequently travel to client sites to deliver services and pursue business development opportunities. Requires a CPA license, 10+ years of experience, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- 8+ years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm, with progressive leadership responsibilities
- CPA license
- Equivalent certifications for IT audit
- Responsible for completing the minimum CPE credit requirement
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time
- Travel may be frequent and unpredictable, depending on client's needs
