Job Summary
Audit Partner sought to lead and oversee complex audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with GAAP/GAAS and regulatory standards, and to serve as the primary relationship partner for key clients across Real Estate, Construction, Professional Services, Hospitality, Retail, and Food & Beverage. Responsibilities include directing audit strategy, risk assessments, and engagement plans; mentoring and developing audit teams; delivering high-quality engagement deliverables and financial statements; driving business development and regional growth; and contributing to firm leadership and strategic initiatives. Requires CPA designation and 12+ years of public accounting experience with significant audit leadership, strong client-management skills, and the ability to generate or leverage a book of business.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- 12+ years of progressive public accounting experience with significant audit leadership responsibilities
- Extensive experience managing and leading complex audit engagements across multiple industries
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the executive level
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong business development acumen and regional market presence
- Experience serving clients in real estate, construction, professional services, hospitality, retail, and/or food & beverage industries (preferred)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to contribute to firm growth and leadership
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on client engagement
