Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across diverse sectors, including owner-managed businesses, charities, and SMEs. Plan, oversee, and review audit assignments from start to completion while acting as the primary point of contact for clients. Lead audit teams to ensure efficient delivery and maintain high standards by reviewing statutory accounts and audit files in accordance with regulations. Identify opportunities to provide additional value to clients and coach junior staff on professional development. Support partners and senior leadership with complex assignments and business initiatives. This role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 to £65,000 with flexible hybrid working options in Brighton.
Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an Audit Manager, Assistant Audit Manager, or Senior Audit role within practice
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
- Experience managing client relationships and leading audit engagements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service
