Job Summary
Lead and manage multiple existing audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, including planning, executing, and completing audits in accordance with established procedures. Perform risk assessments, develop comprehensive audit plans, and oversee the execution of audit procedures by evaluating internal controls, testing transactions, and analyzing financial statements. Review audit findings to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and compliance. Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff while fostering a collaborative work environment. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging audit practices to effectively communicate relevant information to clients and team members. Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on financial and business-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of [5] years of experience in a public accounting firm
- A bachelor's or advanced degree particularly in business or accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Proven track record of managing and leading a team of professionals
- Exceptional client service skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial accounting and audit concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ambition and a desire to advance to a partnership position within our firm
