Job Summary
Manage multiple engagement teams and clients by coordinating audits of financial statements, disclosures, and deliverables. Assess risk, design audit procedures, and review workpapers to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy while mentoring staff. Supervise Senior Associates, monitor productivity, and address client issues or technical accounting matters early. Facilitate open communication with clients and firm specialists, develop others through training, and ensure profitability of projects. Maintain contact with clients throughout the year to assess business developments and explore opportunities. Travel as necessary depending on specific clients and industry.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA/BBA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
- CPA or CA Certification
- Proficient in GAAP reporting standards
- Experience within the Manufacturing sector
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting
- 5+ years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment
- Understanding of audit services with knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and FASB regulations
- A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships
- Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements
- Willingness to travel, as necessary, depending on specific clients and industry
