Audit Manager

Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of audit and attest clients by supervising staff, directing day-to-day engagement progress, and performing technical quality control reviews of workpapers. Utilize accounting software expertise to optimize workflows, analyze financial trends for data-driven decisions, and serve as the primary client liaison for inquiries and recommendations. Lead performance goals regarding chargeable hours and profitability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute department projects and improve internal processes. Prepare and issue accurate invoices, train employees on engagement standards, and contribute to recruiting events as a department representative.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in auditing with a public accounting firm
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory position
- Prior experience in public accounting or another professional services organization
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
- Prior experience in CCH ProFX Engagement (preferred)
- Applicants can have experience in any of the following industry segments: healthcare, government, nonprofit, manufacturing, higher education, construction, and real estate
