Job Summary
Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and workpapers, managing engagement risk, timelines, and budgets; serving as the primary client point of contact; supervising and developing staff; coordinating with tax specialists on business tax returns and planning; identifying opportunities to expand client services and support firm growth; monitoring engagement economics and driving operational improvements; and staying current on audit regulations and maintaining CPA licensure and independence standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting
- CPA designation or other relevant professional certifications
- 8+ years’ experience in public accounting
- Experience managing audit engagements from start to finish
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive individual with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity/eagerness to learn and to teach and share knowledge
- Analytical problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- Experience with CCH/Axcess Workflow, Document, Engagement (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
