Job Summary
Lead multiple government-audit engagements from planning through delivery, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and a coach to staff. Plan, coordinate, and manage engagements to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget adherence; review workpapers, draft financial statements, and oversee audit procedures. Build relationships with government agencies, municipalities, and public institutions while advising on complex accounting, reporting, and compliance matters; collaborate with firm leadership and act as liaison between clients and internal teams. Identify opportunities to expand services and contribute to practice growth. Develop the next generation of talent through coaching and mentoring, managing workloads, and fostering a collaborative, accountable environment. Leverage GASB standards and public-sector experience, with a focus on transparency and effective use of public resources. Hybrid work environment offers flexibility while maintaining strong cross-team support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 6+ years of audit experience
