Job Summary
Weaver is seeking an experienced Audit Manager for their Financial Services team to deliver outstanding client service throughout the audit process. The successful candidate will mentor Associates and Senior Associates, contribute to business development, and support key firm administration functions. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, an active CPA license, and over 5 years of relevant public accounting experience are mandatory, with familiarity in financial services such as investment funds and insurance preferred. The role emphasizes strong leadership, relationship management, and the ability to develop staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
- Experience in alternative investment funds, financial institutions, broker dealers, insurance, or related industries
- Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Senior Associates and Associates
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
- Demonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
