Audit Manager - Business

Lead and manage multiple complex audit, review, and compilation engagements (including EBP audits) from proposal through final presentation to client leadership. Set engagement timelines and staffing plans; delegate work and oversee workflow to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Review and finalize workpapers and audit documentation in accordance with professional and firm standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage, develop, and train staff; contribute to off-season training and implementation of new accounting and auditing standards. Oversee time reporting, billing, WIP, and collections for assigned clients, meeting firm realization and billing goals. Drive firm growth by building client relationships, identifying additional service opportunities, and engaging in networking and other business development activities. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 5-8 years experience in audit; CPA; experience in construction, real estate, manufacturing, and professional services industries; strong quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills, with a focus on improvement and automation; desire to work in a fast-paced environment; collaborative spirit and adaptability to change.
