Job Summary
Manage engagement workflows and deliverables for multiple clients, including audited financial statements, internal control letters, and management reports. Lead engagement planning, resource allocation, and staffing decisions while identifying and resolving technical accounting and audit issues. Review work papers to ensure firm standards are met, delegate assignments based on skills and economics, and prepare presentations for audit exit and board meetings. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, developing industry expertise and assisting in practice development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a public accounting firm
- Assurance leadership, guidance or supervisory experience
- Advanced understanding of applicable U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
