Job Summary
Audit Manager needed to lead complex assurance engagements (audits, reviews, agreed-upon procedures) for a Not-for-Profit client base. Responsibilities include planning engagements, budgeting, staffing, supervising and mentoring staff, monitoring progress, reviewing workpapers and financial statements, assessing findings and preparing governance letters, and developing client relationships. Requires CPA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 5-10 years of assurance experience, strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and financial reporting frameworks, leadership, and client-facing communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in accounting or related field
- CPA license required
- Prior experience auditing Not for Profit clients required
- 5-10 years of experience in assurance related work
- Expertise in audit standards, procedures, and financial reporting frameworks
- Ability to manage complex engagements and align with firm goals
- Proficiency in audit software and related tools
- Strong leadership and communication skills to mentor team members and collaborate with clients
