Job Summary
As an Audit Lead at USAA, you will support various audit engagements, manage strategic initiatives, and adhere to internal auditing standards. This role is integral to analyzing risks and improving internal controls while providing mentorship to other auditors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field
- 8 years of audit, financial, insurance, banking, information technology or related business experience
- Experience performing internal audits or applying audit, risk, or compliance acumen
- Broad experience in Audit theory and internal audit principles
- Demonstrated experience effectively communicating and challenging Controls
- Understanding of risks and internal controls
- Experience in a support role, mentoring team members
- Experience in overseeing work with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools
Desired Qualifications
- ACAS or FCAS designation
- Proven background in P&C model frameworks
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
