Job Summary
Conduct training on audit and fixed asset software while gaining proficiency in basic audit procedures, pension plan auditing, and nonprofit or governmental audits. Gain exposure to client personnel interactions and understand how audit workflows operate across the office. Improve organizational and planning skills through hands-on tasks set by various teams. Complete this full-time paid summer 2027 internship in Rochester or Ithaca, NY, with a focus on developing insight into the everyday environment of a public accounting firm.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and in their sophomore through senior year
- Enrolled in a graduate accounting degree program
- Students must be returning to school
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Functional knowledge of the MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude
- Solid multi-tasking skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Location: Rochester, NY or Ithaca, NY
