Job Summary
Audit Intern will support a variety of audit and assurance engagements by gathering, analyzing, and documenting financial data, assisting in executing audit engagements, participating in fieldwork including testing internal controls and substantive testing, contributing to working papers and audit reports, and collaborating with team members to identify issues and improvements. The role emphasizes data analytics and process automation, confidentiality, and professional conduct, with exposure to diverse client engagements and training on auditing standards. Requires enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, or a related field, GPA 3.0+, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; full-time hours (40-55 per week) including potential overtime during tax season.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A GPA of 3.0 or above
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and completed coursework in Financial and Managerial Accounting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Availability to work full-time (40-55 hours per week), including potential overtime during tax season
