Job Summary
Audit Intern role supports a range of audit and assurance engagements, including executing audits, gathering and analyzing financial data, conducting fieldwork with internal-controls testing and substantive testing, preparing working papers and audit reports, and collaborating with team members to identify issues and improvements. The role emphasizes data analytics and process automation, confidentiality, and professional conduct, with daily time-tracking in the project system. Requires enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, or related field, GPA 3.0+, and proficiency with MS Office; full-time hours (40-55 per week) with potential overtime during tax season; location-based onsite duties in Springfield, OH and Dayton Area, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A GPA of 3.0 or above
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and completed coursework in Financial and Managerial Accounting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Availability to work full-time (40-55 hours per week), including potential overtime during tax season)
