Job Summary
Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations for not-for-profit, manufacturing, health care, and construction clients while preparing tax returns for corporate, partnership, trust, and individual entities. Collaborate with a team performing engagements remotely or at client sites within the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area. Provide two or three full days of work on engagements with the team, averaging 25 hours per week from mid-January through April 15th. This entry-level staff accountant role is designed for December graduates seeking full-time employment or students pursuing a career in public accounting and CPA certification.
Required Qualifications
- willing to travel to client sites during the day in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area
- provide two or three full days to work on engagements with the team
- work an average of 25 hours per week
- work from mid-January running through April 15th
- Pursuing Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting
- completed intermediate accounting courses
- be a junior or senior
- be a December graduate
- work a minimum of two full days during and a minimum four hours on Saturdays during from January through April 15th
- work an average of 25 hours per week
- work an average of 55 hours per week during tax season
- work a minimum of 4 hours on Saturday
