Job Summary
Process monthly data including inputting, coding, scanning, copying, and distributing reports and information. Prepare journal entries with applicable backup documentation and compile financial information to post entries to general ledger accounts. Analyze payments for oil and gas sales, Joint Interest billings, and purchases of services, equipment, and materials used in drilling and production. Research, analyze, and resolve disputes with third-party working interest owners, operators, and vendors while working on a summer project. Requires current enrollment in a four-year college with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and eligibility to work permanently in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a 4-year college or university
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Eligible to work permanently in the United States upon graduation
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
