Job Summary
Execute audit and attest engagements, including risk assessment and materiality, while preparing workpapers for accuracy and adherence to firm standards. Communicate progress, findings, and issues to managers and clients, manage engagement budgets and timelines, and prepare financial statements with high completeness. Adapt to evolving software and workflows, utilizing CCH® Knowledge Coach or comparable platforms. This hybrid role is based in the Greater Pittsburgh Region for the A&A Experienced Associate at H2R CPA. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting with 2+ years of relevant experience, with an active CPA license or pursuit strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong technology skills
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Location in the Greater Pittsburgh Region
- 2+ years of experience in A&A within public accounting
- Active CPA license
- Active pursuit of CPA license
- Intent to pursue CPA license
- Past experience with CCH® Knowledge Coach
- Past experience with CCH Engagement
- Other relevant A&A platform experience
